    Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport focused on grappling and ground fighting, emphasizing technique and leverage to control an opponent and apply joint locks or chokeholds. It is designed to allow a smaller, weaker person to defend against a larger, stronger opponent through skillful application of techniques. BJJ promotes physical fitness, mental discipline, and practical self-defense skills, making it popular among both martial artists and fitness enthusiasts. 

    Absolutely not. Many of our students are complete beginners.  You do not have to be in shape either.  You will get in shape with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

    Bring a refilable water bottle.  Wear confortable workout attire.  A pair of slippers would be nice.
